Angkur Jyoti Dipanka Shaikeea


Angkur Shaikeea is passionate about solving problems and building products, primarily in solid mechanics with a touch of fluid mechanics. His journey through Cambridge, guided by Prof. Vikram Deshpande, shaped his approach to mechanics and continues to inspire his research. He enjoys music by Zubeen Garg, admires Sachin and Federer, and inspired by Shah Rukh Khan. He finds joy in vintage collections, poetry, Lego, and photography.

Saksham Sharma


Saksham Sharma is a postdoctoral research scholar and currently working on architected heat exchangers and 3D microfluidics. He received his PhD from University of Cambridge. He spends his time exploring the Navier Stokes problem. In his free time, he could be seen playing pickleball, collecting scientific archives, or buying artworks.

Rosan Naik


Rosan Naik is a postdoctoral research scholar and currently working on the development of X-ray apparatus and metamaterial failure. He received his PhD from IIT Kharagpur. He is a sketch artist, enjoys gardening and cooking.

Jamie Carpenter


Jamie Carpenter is a first-year PhD student in Aeronautics with a research focus on experimental solid mechanics and advanced measurement techniques. She received her B.S. in Aerospace Engineering at the University of Minnesota in 2024.

Jacqueline Zhou


Jacqueline Zhou is a first year undergraduate student at Caltech majoring in materials science with a minor in geophysics. She is interested in metamaterials, fracture mechanics, and X-ray analysis of materials. When she's not doing science research, she loves finding more rare rocks and minerals to add to her gneiss sizable collection. She also enjoys growing hydroponic plants and playing the piano. Jacqueline is an active member of the Caltech PARSEC rocketry team.
